
Originally from Seattle, Carolyn Samuelson is a versatile vocalist, pianist, and songwriter with a passion for creating soulful, sophisticated live experiences. A lifelong musician, she studied keyboard and vocal performance at DePaul University, Berklee and Musicians Institute, and has performed extensively across the West Coast Coast—appearing at renowned venues including Birdland, Smalls Jazz Club, 13 Coins Bellevue, The Baked Potato, Harvelle’s, Hotel Café, Sofitel Hotel, and Braemar Country Club. In Seattle, she had residencies at The Edgewater Hotel, Willows Lodge and the SeaTac Airport.
Her career highlights include performing on NCIS as a singer/dancer, touring with the Colors of Christmas alongside Peabo Bryson, Taylor Dayne, Jon Secada, and Deniece Williams, and headlining the Great Gatsby Tour as vocalist and keyboardist. In addition to her solo performances, she’s contributed session vocals and keys for various projects, led worship at two Seattle churches, and performed with the DePaul University Gospel Choir.
With an elegant sound that blends jazz, soul, and pop influences, Carolyn brings warmth and artistry to every performance—making her a favorite for high-end lounges, hotels, and private events. She has produced two EPs of original music and is currently working on her first full album.
